One of the case study answers says this patient would benefit from general adrenal-supporting nutrients such as vitamin C, magnesium, and B vitamins. Is this answer suggesting something like a B complex?

Dr. Amy Nett: No, I think in this case it was probably meant to be pantethine. So adrenal-supporting nutrients like vitamin C, magnesium, and pantethine probably would’ve been a more precise way to say that. Because it is pantethine that’s more specifically beneficial in terms of adrenal support.

 

Unless of course you’re saying like, I’m just trying to think, how could a B complex be supportive for adrenals? Maybe if you’re looking at something like a nutrient deficiency and that’s causing a source of chronic stress, something like that on the body, and just like nutrient repletion. But for the adrenals more specifically, probably pantethine is the primary B vitamin nutrient that you want to think about.
