Can H. pylori, given this tendency to develop antibiotic resistance, also readily develop resistance to non-pharmaceutical treatments?

Chris Kresser: “Can H. pylori, given this tendency to develop antibiotic resistance, also readily develop resistance to non-pharmaceutical treatments?”

I think that’s less likely, given that in a single herbal compound, there are multiple different active ingredients and usually reusing herbal formulas that have multiple herbs, so you have multiple ingredients. That said, there have been some studies, which have documented some resistance to even botanicals. I think we do need to at least be cognizant of that.
