Can you give a rough estimate of how many of your patients test positive to at least one antibody on the Cyrex Array 3 test? Is it more common to see people reacting to wheat proteins than not?

Chris Kresser: I would say it is more common to see people reacting than not, but I would also say that I regularly see tests where people are not reacting at all, where every single thing is in the green, and the same is true for Cyrex Array 4. To be honest, if I didn’t see that, I would be skeptical. I’m skeptical of any test that comes back with all positive results or all negative results all the time. That’s something that makes me raise my eyebrows. I don’t know if I could give you a rough estimate, but I would say maybe 60 or 70 percent test positive to at least one antibody on the Cyrex tests, maybe a little higher, but you have to keep in mind that I’m treating sick people, so I’m not seeing patients who come in who are well. I mean, I do actually have a few of those, people who just really want to optimize their health, but predominantly I’m treating patients that are not only sick, but quite sick, and have been sick for many years, and I’m kind of their final hope. You have to take that into consideration whenever you ask me a question about my patient population.
