Is there an elastase level on stool testing that you would consider too high and warrant further investigation?

Amy Nett: No. As far as I know, you’re primarily looking for a low fecal elastase and then you would want to start thinking about what’s going on with pancreatic function and start asking the patient about upper abdominal pain, prior episodes of pancreatitis, etc. I’m not aware of an upper limit.
