What protocol is used for Clostridium difficile? I have a client that I’ve done two rounds of other protocols for C. diff, and it’s still showing up positive.

Dr. Amy Nett: Remember that Clostridium difficile is actually the one case in the United States where you can do fecal microbial transplant, so if medications haven’t worked, I would probably think about doing fecal microbial transplant. I think there are a few different clients and locations that offer FMT. One is the Bright Clinic up in Oregon, run by Mark Davis. I think that’s a great option. If you’re having trouble treating C. diff, I would absolutely consider fecal microbial transplant.
