Chris Kresser: Well, if you already know she is hypoglycemic in a fasted state, then you don’t necessarily need to put her through that. If you want to see what happens to her blood sugar in response to meals, like if she is having reactive hypoglycemia, you could just have her test just before she eats, then one hour after she eats, and then two hours after she eats. Then if she eats right away after two hours, then that’s it. You can still get some useful information from that data.
