Do you have a recommended resource to learn about heavy metal and mold testing and treatment as this is not covered in this course?

Okay. Last question from Dr. Dani. “Do you have a recommended resource to learn about heavy metal and mold testing and treatment as this is not covered in this course?”

Chris: The Shoemaker Protocol is probably the best-known approach to treating mold and mold-related illness. I’ve learned a lot from Dr. Shoemaker, and I have a lot of respect for the work he’s done and the protocol that he’s developed, but I definitely don’t agree with all of it at this point, but that has probably the most comprehensive information on mold. There’s also— let me search for this here. There’s a group of people, doctors and other kinds of practitioners, who have over the past a year or couple of years who trained initially with Dr. Shoemaker and then started to maybe disagree in some key areas, and they have created their own organization called the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness or ISEI. I don’t know that they have any specific training themselves available yet, but I know that’s in the plan. So, that’s an organization to definitely connect with if you’re interested in that. For heavy metal testing, I’m not aware of any other training. It is one of the first advanced modules that we would like to do as part of the ADAPT training process, but I can’t give you a specific timeframe.
