What percentage of your patients opt to do all or most of the testing you recommend? What about those who opt to not do any testing due to finances or other reasons? I know this is a general question, but depending on the presentation, do you use therapeutic protocols or work solely on diet and lifestyle-targeted supplementation? I have a patient diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome, on a very restricted diet, eating only oatmeal, started fish, white rice, a couple other foods. Probably one of the most restricted I work with. She gets GI inflammation, inflammatory pain response. Any suggestions? Her goal is to get her diet as least restrictive as possible and return to a performance level.
