Dr. Amy Nett: No, I would not do that. I’m trying to think why you would do HCl after treating that. I’m not entirely sure. One of the things I actually use is Carafate, and there’s been some indication that Carafate may actually help to decrease … sorry, I’m reading some questions that are coming in. No, I’m not sure that you would introduce HCl. Again, if you want to clarify why you’re thinking you would want to use HCl after treatment for Helicobacter pylori, that could be helpful, but, no, I wouldn’t generally say that you treat H. pylori and then need to stimulate HCl production.
