Kelsey Kinney: Okay, good question. So I’ll start with what I think the easier one of these is, which is that for Prescript-Assist. I don’t think that’s going to interfere with the mechanism of action here just because I assume what you might be worried about is that some of these probiotics might be killed off basically by the acidity of lemon juice. But they should be fine given that they’re meant to withstand stomach acid as well. So I wouldn’t worry about the Prescript-Assist, certainly.
The InterFase Plus, because it’s enzymes, it might, those enzymes might slightly be used to break down anything in the lemon juice. But I would think it would be really, really minor. So again here, I think I wouldn’t worry all that much about it. So, but that could be a slight interference, I would say. But overall, I would say if you have patients who like to do this, or this is something that you’re recommending anyway, I would not worry too much about it. If anything, maybe take the InterFase a little bit after you do the lemon water just to kind of allow the enzymes to do their thing and not break down the lemon juice in any way or be used to do that. But otherwise I would say this should be just fine.
