So far I’ve been stocking supplements for my patients, but I’m concerned about the cost of doing so and some or many of the supplements expiring. Are there alternatives other than sending a patient to a health food store, your website, or another website? I’m from Canada, so the exchange also kills me, and it’s worse to source out other brands, as well, that are available in Canada.

Chris Kresser:  In terms of the Canadian question, I think I’ve mentioned this before, but this is a significant issue that we’ve dealt with in our practice, and I am working on a solution that would solve these problems and would have all of the supplements that I’m teaching you available under one roof so you could just send your patients to the store and they would pay a single shipping charge, and then you’d get a commission on that order. It doesn’t sound like that’s going to help you, though, because of the exchange and the cross-border issues. That’s something we are looking into that one of the distribution companies that I’m working with and investigating as a potential partner actually advertises a kind of seamless North American shipping service, where they’re able to somehow ship to Canada quite easily. I don’t know how they’re able to do that because of the customs issues with some of the supplements, but I’m going to check into that, and I’ll definitely keep you posted.
