Just as a general thing, my intention in ADAPT was to get you started with some protocols that I found to be really effective. The intention is not to suggest that these are the only protocols that could work when you identify problems like SIBO or fungal overgrowth or to even suggest that you follow these protocols exactly the way that I follow them. The idea is that it gives you at least a starting place and a way of having confidence that you can successfully treat a lot of the patients that you’ll see. But over time, what I expect will happen is you’ll make additions and subtractions based on what you discover with your particular patient population, based on what you have access to depending on where you live, what your scope of practice is, and a lot of these other kinds of things, but it’s a lot easier to do that when you’re not starting from scratch.
